YouTube: sxephil & PhilipDeFranco & LikeTotallyAwesome
I have been a big fan of this guy for over three years now. His main channel is "sxephil" and he hosts a news channel, or as he says "what interested him in the news today". I don't watch a lot of news on the TV unless my dad has control of the TV remote. Phil keeps me informed on topics of the world and makes them easy for his viewers to understand. He's hilarious and I have a lot of respect for him because he's grown into a whole different person then who he started out as on YouTube. He has a big heart and does a lot of free giveaways and really cares about his viewers. He's said he was done with his YouTube channel on more then one occasion but he's never quit on us. I know I would be very upset if he did stop doing videos because I enjoy watching them and him "philing me in". ;) the fans get that joke lol.
He has another channel called "PhilipDeFranco" where he does some daily Vlogs and has some behind the scenes of his show and extras.
And his other channel that I'm including in this blog is his channel called "LikeTotallyAwesome" where he now has his DeFranco Movie Club and other just really awesome stuff. I like the movie club idea because if I've seen the movie that they watch I can either agree or disagree with them, and if there is a movie I've not seen, based on the review, I'll either watch it or just keep on living life.
All in all Philip DeFranco is a powerhouse on YouTube and he's humble about it. He has over 1,500,000 subscribers on his sxephil account, almost 600,000 on his PhilipDeFranco account, and almost 500,000 on his LikeTotallyAwesome account. Obviously he's doing something right and I highly recommend him. Thumbs up for sure! <3

Lips: Dinner with the Divas (Fort Lauderdale)
So what should you do on a Thursday night? Girls night at Lips! Don't know what Lips is? Lips is the ultimate Draw Show! Know what DDD stands for? Drinks, Dinner and Drag! I've never been to a Drag Show before and this show was amazing and the theme today was Dinner with the Divas. They had drag divas imitating celebrities, alive and dead. They apparently have different themes each night; Drag Divas, Bingo, Karaoke, Trivia, etc. Surprisingly there was many older women and even some men in attendance.
You have three courses: a Caesar salad, an entree and a brownie with whipped cream on top. I had the filet, extra $7, but it's worth it. You get unlimited refills on coke, diet coke and sprite; granted it is $5, you get to take home your pink Lips cup as a reminder of the great time you had. The host was great and made jokes and had the whole crowd laughing. If you go be sure to bring plenty of singles to tip the ladies =) I would love to go back and enjoy the show again. Def a thumbs up for me.
There are also Lips located in San Diego and New York so if they are in your area please check them out for yourself.

YouTube: JennaMarbles
Okay the first YouTube video I saw of her's was her making fun of Ke$ha that was posted on somebodies Facebook. I was bored today and decided to check out the rest of her videos and I've come to the conclusion that she's absolutely AMAZING! She's so funny and down to earth. Her rants are awesome and she's so informative. She has two dogs that she loves to death and they show up in pretty much all of her videos. I'm subscribed to two of her channels and I have no regrets. She is a YouTube partner but still has another job and I guess that does prove that you can't entirely depend on YouTube partnerships to get you through life. All in all she's a real person with real problems and she's just the kind of person you'd want to have as a friend. Thumbs up for sure =)
You should check out her videos to get a good idea about if you think you'd want to watch her:
-How to trick people into thinking you're good looking
-How To Avoid Talking To People You Don't Want To Talk To
-Girls That Piss Me Off

Hong Kong City BBQ (Tamarac, FL)
If you drove past this restaurant you wouldn't think much of it. It's in a little plaza off Commercial and 441 just North of Commercial on the West side of the road. I've been going to this place for several years now and I've yet to be disappointed by it. There are two things that make this place unique: they serve Dim Sum, and they have Chinese BBQ.
My Favorites:
Steamed BBQ Pork Bun - Dim Sum
BBQ Honey Roasted Pork
Beef Pan Fried Noodles
Pork Lo Mein
I don't like seafood but they have lots of shrimp and seafood dishes to choose from. Everyone there is very nice and friendly and it's a very calm and relaxed atmosphere. Thumbs up. =)

Neutrogena Naturals Purifying Pore Scrub
I had high hopes for this product. I love the majority of Neutrogena products and I was excited for their new line of products. I used this product for the first time in the shower, rubbed it into a wet face, rinsed off the product and when I got out of the shower my whole face looked like I was badly sun burnt it was so beet red. It went away after thirty minutes but I thought it was just a fluke because I exfoliate my face regularly. (I use St. Ives Apricot Scrub). Today I tried the product again to see if I get the same results, and I did. It does seem a little harsh for my skin and I don't know if it is causing me to break out because I have been lately. I have combination skin and I've never found it to be sensitive but I would only use this product sparingly at night before going to bed and not repurchase it. I would suggest using a good moisturizer after using this product to help the stinging go down. Thumbs down for me

WordFued
Okay so I must confess that I am totally addicted to this game. I downloaded it maybe....four or five days ago (for free on the Android market, also available on the iPhone) and I've been playing non-stop since. It's like Words For Friends. It's as simple as downloading it to your phone, creating a username and invite random players to play you. You can add them to your friends list so you can play them at feature times and overall it's a challenging and entertaining game. I've yet to win a round because I focus more on making badass words like "pirate" and surprisingly enough you can get a lot of points for the word "sex" haha. There are ads in the free version, but they aren't bad enough to actually buy the app. Yes, thumbs up for me.

Blue Man Group (Orlando)
So this past year my 20th birthday was on a Sunday and what's better then going to Universal Studios for the weekend?!?! Since I was born I've been a Disney baby with yearly passes for about fourteen years so Islands of Adventure was a very new thing to me. One of the nights we were in Orlando my mom surprised me with Blue Man Group tickets!
Here's a little info on Blue Man Group. It's a group of men, usually three or four dressed completely in black and any possibly exposed skin is covered in blue paint; I believe their hands have gloves on them. It's all about acoustics with the Blue Man Group. I don't want to spoil anything but through the usage of sound, light, paint and audience participation, this is a show that is so worth the money it's ridiculous. I left the show wanting to go back and see another one. It's honestly mind blowing and if you've been in band and did drums you'll definitely appreciate that they do best. HELL YES THUMBS UP!

Boondock Saints
I will admit that I hadn't seen this movie until my most recent ex-boyfriend found out that I hadn't. It's his favorite movie and on our two month we stayed in and watched it together.
This movie is directed and written by Troy Duffy and stars Willem Dafoe, Sean Patrick Flanery and Norman Reedus. It was released in 1999.
Upon watching this movie once it became my new favorite movie. Don't believe me? My ringtone for people who don't have assigned ring tones is the kill prayer. For the fans, you know what I'm talking about ;) for the n00bs, please watch this movie. It's worth the money, but it's you're cheap, you can watch it YouTube. Yes it is on Youtube lol.
All of the protagonists are lovable in their own ways and you'll be repeating classic lines after the credits roll. The tagline for the movie alone should get you excited for the movie. "Before The MacManus Brothers Get To Heaven, They're Gonna Raise A Little Hell".
Thumbs up? HELL YES!

Switched At Birth Episode One
This TV show interested me from the first time I saw an ad for it on TV. It's an interesting concept that isn't talked about a lot, almost like it's a taboo. I didn't catch the series premiere episode on TV, but I did watch it online on Hulu. I will say it did catch my attention and I watched the first episode all the way through and once it ended I subscribed to it online. What I like about this show the most is that you can learn some sign language while you're watching this. So far this is a thumbs up.
Jackass 3.5
I've been a fan of Jackass for years. Even Wild Boyz way back in the day with Steve-O and Chris. I just happened to stumble upon Jackass 3.5 online while searching for a movie to watch. The movie is set up differently then the past Jackass movies, it has more of a documentary element which was nice. They talked about past experiences and how they always have to watch their back because everyone is out to get each other. This will not disappoint. Def a thumbs up.
So You Think You Can Dance
So You Think You Can Dance is one of the greatest reality shows that has ever been on television. I got into it at the start of the 4th season and it is starting it's 8th season. It's already a couple of episodes in but you can catch up by searching for it on Hulu. What I love about this show is that it shows us really talented people in their element, being challenged and doing what they love: dancing. I love the hip hop, contemporary and ballroom dances. This show is a thumbs up for me.
Dunkin' Donuts Frozen Hot Chocolate
I tried this today June 9th, 2010 and I was very excited for it. I've heard great things about this but I was very disappointed. Maybe I had a high expectations going into it, but I probably won't be ordering this again. I don't like dark chocolate very much and I believe that's what they use. You can get a sample size and have a taste for yourself but this is a no no for me.
